Givi Wingrack for '89 TA

I"m looking for the tubular steel version of Givi rack for my TA but not having much luck finding one. Happy Trail offers the Givi Wingrack setup.

Other than the questionable aesthetics, has anyone here got any real world experience with the Wingrack on a TA? How strong/durable are they compared to the tube steel version?

My bags are Pelicans and the bike will be used mostly for light weekend sport/adventure touring.

Thanks

wingracks and pelicans

I have the GIVI wingrack with the GIVI tubular attachments, I prefer this to the Happy trails simply because it is more symetrical left to right than the others seem to be......doesnt stick out to the right side as much.
I also use the pelican cases bolted to the wingracks .....
Just my 2 cents worth.......Russ

Thanks for the input. I actually ordered a HT SU rack this morning. I'll use it for a while and see how it works. Might even try to shim the left side mount a little bit so the bags stick out the same on both sides.

The transformation

When you get ready to make the Transalp turn and ride like new call Rick at Cogent Dynamics. (www.motocd.com)
Gold valves for the front and the Moab shock on the rear , the difference is amazing.....
