Day 3

On Day 3 we decided to all ride together. Only Justin opted out. I guess 1 day is enough with the old farts when you're 18 years old. 7 KTMs, 1 Suzuki and a Honda.

Warren and Barry come down the wet trail we went up the day before.

Here comes Bob.

He's going so fast he's all blurry.

Here's Paul.

Here's Ben.

Day 3

This was a nice powerline.

A lot of work to get one layer off, now that the sun is finally out.

Ed's trying for the best dressed award.

Looks like Bob's going for Best Dressed as well. And Warren finally got his feet wet.

Day 3

We eventually made it to the old railway bridge across the Wanapitei River.

A wee bit rotten in places.

Nice view from up here.

Click below for videos.

Proof that Paul rode across despite his fear of heights.
"Oh Boy!"

That's for the bridge!

Great report Kevin! Looks like you guys had a blast. That bridge over the Wanapite river is a challanging ride but you guys made it look like a cake walk.
Great job, and the videos are a nice touch, my posting skills are still very weak.

Great report. Did you say you got wet?

I was there the week before but didn't do any DS stuff.
Took off from Ottawa and was back home the next day.
The weather was not as predicted. It was wet. Something like what you endured.
I will be going back next year.
I plan on going to Chapleau by the lumber road that starts somewhere east of Sudbury, past Espanola.

Gary, don't worry to much about that bridge, you've been over it once, from now on it'll be a breeze, must of been my 20th time crossing it, I must admit though it's getting a bit more dicey as the years roll by!!

Ed...

Sorry about the crappy video on this next one, had to hold the camera and stay on the bridge!!
