16GA would be fine. The lift is 2.5'X7', so two 4 foot sections would work perfectly. I'll have to check on the cost of the sheet.

Thanks!

Not that you are getting bad marks from your brake and the fact you powder coat them this may not be of great value, but there is a tape out there you can put on the the fingers to eliminate the marks. On a box pan it is not too big of deal but on press brakes it really can do wonders when coining.
Your welds are really looking good !

Damn, those lockable latches look sweet! Any info on these lockable latches? Where to buy & how much? Might want to replace the latches & padlocks on my boxes with these!

Thanks.

PS. Love the thread and the work that you do.

McMaster Carr. They were about $18 each! I really like them, very similar to the ones Jesse uses on his Safari bags.

Thanks, Dan!

I'll have to look into that. I can also replace the jaw on the straight part of the brake. I'm going to call Roper Whitney Monday to see how much a replacement jaw costs...

Jim
^ What he said.

They are made by Southco, and sometimes they will pop up on ebay. The technical term is a load rated draw latch.
