That is what it's for, I just never bought a gun, powder, etc. It would be great for small parts like the rack I just made today, but I don't think I could even put one pannier in there.

I have plans to make an 8' x 8' walk-in oven. I'm doing research on whether to run 240V to it, or propane. It will be expensive to build, so it will be a ways off...

Thanks! This little rack kicked my rear end today. It took about 13 hours because I couldn't get it just how I wanted.

I wanted to use the Pirate's Lair base plate, but couldn't get everything to line up like I thought it should. Several hours wasted there. I just never found my rythm today and was starting to get frustrated, so I pulled the plug early.

I ended up welding in a piece of flat bar and drilled it out for backrest adjustments.

I also had to drill and tap an additional hole in the backrest bar to put it in the same position as before.

I'm happy with the outcome, but wanted to get more done today than that. Tomorrow is a new day with new things to do and see, hopefully!

Jalapeno poppers are in the oven for a hard-earned after dinner snack.

Kirk,

Sometimes simple is best. I like the way you made the backrest work!

Thanks, Jim!

I wasn't quitting until I had it knocked out. It almost won, but I was more determined.

I know! I'm anxiously awaiting word from Mr. Powder coater.

If I get this build done this week, it will be time for another visit...

Let's try some 'trician's tools!

Greenlee hydraulic knock-out punch with a 3" cutter. Like buttah!

Quicker? Maybe. Quieter? YES! Try running a jigsaw on what amounts to an aluminum drum!

New trick! Yes!!!

A couple zips with a cutting wheel, and we're ready to rock.

Quality Happy Trails mounts makes me look like a pro.

What a difference a day makes. Yesterday? Pure frustration. Today? Pure joy!

Lid fab after lunch..
