Kostroma.

Kostroma is located in 330 km. from Moscow, on the banks of the Volga River. Kostroma was founded by Yuri Dolgoruky (Prince, who in 1147 founded a Moscow city) during the campaign on Bulgarian lands in 1152, but the first record mention of Kostroma was only in 1213.
We went to the Kostroma with our friends and stopped for the night in a very nice hotel. In town, we basically moved on motorcycle, periodically stopping at various cafes.

In Kostroma is one of the largest surviving in Russia shopping centers, built in the late XVIII - early XIX centuries. It consists of 10 buildings shopping malls.

In the central squareis located fire-tower, its height -about 35 meters.

Schoolgirls.

We dined in the "best" cafe on the waterfront. Guys, if you're in Kostroma()
- do not eat there! It is good that we always have tablets with us!

After lunch we went to the Ipatiev monastery, it is on the outskirts of the town.

Outstanding photographs! It must be fantastic to have these treasures close to home. Thanks for sharing them with us!
