Maybe not so cool. Out of the 15 videos I took, only 4 files were good. The rest all seem to be corrupted for some reason. I have never had this problem before with the Contour Roam. I will do a little investigating to see what caused the problem an how to avoid it happening in the future. I was using a class 10 rated memory card that worked fine in the past.

I'll check if anything I do have is post worthy. With MrT staying up on two wheels all day, probably not.

Replacement OEM shifters for the Honda CRF ain't cheap!

I don't know about video, however I do a lot of digital photography, If you don't re-format the cards often, they get corrupted. I usually re-format every time I down load the pics, any way, hope that helps some.

Anyway, I had a great ride!

I would search for a shifter with a spring loaded end I bet MSR has one

Big Bike Road Trip Feeler

We are coming to the longest day / weekend.

For the street bikes any interest in an all day street ride.

Like App Gap and back on 2 lanes about 500 miles ?
Leave about 7 AM get there about Noon then take a longish break and return

I think Sunday is 6/24

Have to work on my new camara angle. My computer is acting up so this so this is what you get. Good ride on Sunday. One bent shifter and a broken hadlight was the damage. I think we had one drop and a tip-over but nothing on video to prove it.

I think I have recovered from the Berkshire ride enough to do an easy BBDOR...
I was thinking of doing a redo of the Rt 101 / Tucker Hollow Road meet up we did last year.

This ride includes:

Dirt roads around Barden Res,
The George Washington "Hill Climb",
various roads in the mid-state,
should add Wille Woodhead
and then up to Pulaski ..

The weather looks good...
we got to Pulaski kinda late last year..
so I would suggest a 10:30 departure..
but this can be moved to include someone if needed

We talking about this upcoming weekend or next? If next (23/24) I'd be very much in. Also, if anyone would be bringing a v-strom, do you think I might be able to try it out for a few minutes? I bought a shadow touring cruiser for a 6 week trip I've got coming up in September but it feels soulless to me...Thinking of stromming it.

I was shooting at this weekend ..... I got my pass card...

There is a Dunkin Donuts shop at the intersection of Rt6 and Rt 102,
but I don't know how suitable it is for parking...

The other option is to start out at Pulaski SF.
They have a parking area on the south shore of Peak Pond at the end of Center Trail Road.
This is fine with me...

Plenty of variety if we start out there...

Mileage and route are flexible..

I usually will make up a route, but if someone wants to lead or hit some spot,
then the plan can change... last year we rode till 5 or 6 pm...
took a few breaks along the way too...
