Yeah I fly back into town on the redeye wed night... I haven't been on a bike in a month though... Not sure I would be up for anything to demanding after the month I have had.

There's a "big bike" route that we could do. A good way to get back in the swing and forget your troubles. It's GSA friendly, too.

Yeah, MRT you take the GSA, Ill take the berg and lilolita can ride the DRZ.

In other news, I broke my shifter pin again on my way to work this morning. Seems to be a real weak spot in these trannies.

Hey Guys!,
Thought I would post it here for the locals first. I am selling the KLR to upgrade to the new 2013 Triumph Explorer i took out this weekend. AMAZING bike but I also will be getting a DRZ400 or something to keep the Dual Sports in RI still in full motion. If anyone has interest in the bike just shoot me an e-mail. ill be glad to send photos.

Hey MATPOC,
Sorry about that. The display had some technical difficulties with some wiring and the power supply.. She will be back up today.

The Somers run seems to be pickin up some interest here. If you'all are interested, I'd offer up Camp Drewha to use as a base.I'm 10 minutes from the start. I'd supply a basic burger and dog fest Sat. nite, Bagels and coffee for breakfest. I can even put together a nice little offroad nite ride. No worries, nothing to gnarly. I have plenty of tent and parking space, pet friendly, showers, hot tub, fire pit. BYOB. . What do you think?

Got her up and running. Sorry we did not have this fixed by the weekend. Starting from the Top it goes D1 , D2S , D2D and the new DM1.

I may do the Somers ride. I'd camp somewhere if do but not sure yet if I'd ride the turkey run or the big bike.

Edit: actually maybe not... They do a noise check at this event don't they? I am not sure my drz would pass.. ?

I think you'd be suprised (or maybe not?) at how loud 96db is.

Or see if you can borrow someones stock can (if you dont have modified jetting to account for it?)?

My drz would probably be under the noise limit but I'd hate to go up and get turned away!
My f650 may not be rideable for the weekend. The rear wheel sprocket carrier bearings disintegrated on
me last week. New parts are ordered though...

is it a re-packable exhaust? a simple re-packing could quiet it down enough.
