If so what are logistics ?
We will be riding from North Scituate, Rhode Island sunday morning on the bikes early enough to make it to the event on time. The rest is up in the air.

Am riding and hopefully not thrashing the big bike for Somers Fun on Sunday.

I am tempted to try the Turkey run with the small KTM but I fear that my inexperience and lack of fitness will leave me puking in my helmet.

It's just a trail ride. If you get tired you can hop on a road and go back. There is no pressure from anyone except yourself. There is no times to keep, just go for a ride on some good stuff. Bypass the Hero sections and you'll be fine!

Skipping the hero sections, it's nothing to be afraid of. If you want to take out the 400, I'll ride with ya. It's not a race, but you can push yourself hard if you want to. I personally don't care it I do the "super hero" section, or no hero section. Having friends at my side on the trail is really the thing that means to most, and the part I remember the most. Seeing Ed covered with mud from Thad's roost, dicing it up with Claudio, or trying to get my spot back from Creech, they all make for great memories.

One think I can assure you of though, participating in NETRA events WILL make you a better rider. You see how everyone else does it, and at the pace they do it in. No matter how good you are, there are some people there to make you push your limits to keep up with.

I'm in, pending getting work off... My monstrous Shadow Tourer turned into a tiny WR250 a couple nights ago and I've been dying to trail ride it. The p.o. geared it even taller I think for the "knobbies on tarmac" thing he had going on so I'll hopefully find a smaller sprocket tomorrow. Anyone riding up Saturday night that doesn't feel like going over 70mph? Also is Camp Drewha still open for the season?

Rhodehazard, I'll be fumbling around everywhere attempting to learn how to ride offroad properly instead of just pinning my KLR 'till I fall off.

So I'm trying to get Sun off for the Summers ride, are you guys going to meet up and ride together, or is it everyone for them self?

I'd be up for the former, either arrange a central meeting place or pick people up caravan style. I'm off all day tomorrow and could leave whenever. Only thing on the agenda is some suspension fiddling as the previous owner has it completely stiffened.

Can't wait for Sunday!
