leftystrat, just show up. It gets worked out when we're there. Camping is free this time of year, and folks just throw a tent up wherever there's room...multiple tents per site. Great that you can make it!

Don't forget, this is the Halloween CnR -- costumes are encouraged, and you could pull off an easy one.

I've not heard from my buddy. Nor have I heard from my trials group. WTF! What happened to the stick by your word theory! Matt, I may just stay and watch the skins game and play wiffle ball w/ my boys. Wanted to ride, just changed the oil, bled the forks, pressures, chain, air filter but am kinda saying fuck it now.

I have the DRZ back together aside from the bash plate. So I'm up for something tomorrow. It sounds like the Pachaug area ride is the way to go so I'll try to meet you guys there.

plans may change if I talk to a few locals that want to ride around here but when I lost my phone a few weeks ago I lost everyone's phone number.. So it's a little harder to get in touch with people..

speaking of which.. if you think I should have your number send me a PM with it!

EDIT:

It looks like I'm going to do a little ride with Gooch here in Central CT tomorrow. Much more convenient for us and I will [hopefully] be seeing all of you at the camp n ride next weekend anyway..

Have fun out there and if you could clear most of the fallen leaves off the single track trails that would be much appreciated..

I'll meet you at the parking lot at 11:30. I had to make another license plate for the WR; must have came off in the woods around here somewhere. (sound familiar?)

Had a good ride today...coudn't ask for better weather. Thanks MrT10x for leading, and thanks JGormley and Birkenstitches for the help fixing my chain and fishing me out of a few mudpuddles. Good riding with you guys!

Heading out on Noah's Ark Rd.

Looks like ya had a GREAT time! I passed mrt10x at the diner, and watched jgormley drive on by as we repaired a floppy mirror on 165. The rain certainly left its marhk. I think we heard you guys at the Mt Misery campground, although who knows? There were so many bikes out this weekend.

Random Honda boy at the cornfield. Random 2-up BMW GS on the DEP trail. KTM being hauled on the back of some sorta SUV. What I think was a KLR riding around Mt Misery campground. Hello!

Hoping to see ya boyz next weekend at the CnR.

No longer a virgin

Had an awesome time during my inaugural run at Pachaug! Thanks for leading the way Mr10x. Made it through with all parts intact, including my license plate . Loving the WR250F; like me, its a bit worn but gets he job done .

So rekluse or no rekluse?

So MrT did decide to keep the rekluse? I am thinking of getting one for the DRZ?

I'm not the best one to get advice from on that, but I don't get it really. Most bikes have a hydraulic clutch now which make pulling the clutch really easy. If you have a cable type and have a hard time, you could try replacing the cable first. Also, you really dont need to pull the clutch in when shifting anyway. The only time you need to use the clutch is when you come to a stop and you're still in gear. I generally use a cluth when upshifting, just as a courtesy to the bike though. When I'm comi.g into an obstacle and need to down shift, just tap the lever with your foot. The clutch just slows you down.

Spend the money if you want to, but you ha e to ask yourself what problem you're trying to solve, and will it have any drawbacks. Generally, the best way to become a better rider is just spend that money on gas. Someone else's quote.
