I knew that was you.. but you didnt even wave you snot Ducati wasnt it?? There is a big tree down on the road out of Green Falls.. the uphill section right where Bomber concussed himself :) It will definitely need a chainsaw for removal. I am not sure if I am going to try and take it out tomorrow or not.. will decide in the morning.

edit: or was it that black and yellow 690SM from Twisted Throttle?

Met up with Maat in Pawtucket, headed over to Scituate and warmed up on some familiar back roads before heading out to Pachaug. Not sure which trails (loops?) we took: first we went on some roads/trails south off Hell Hollow road and those were fine, then took a trail North of Cedar Swamp road and that was a bit too much given our fuel situation, time constraints and general inexperience so we backtracked to Cedar Swamp and headed back, Maat had to get home and I had couple errands to run before heading down to Narragansett.

Will upload some video as soon as I find the clip of me crashing and burning my pants and leg (ouch, got a blister!)

Also lost my cell at one point, glad Maat was there to pick it up.

I left the house to buy a Husqvarna and came home with this!

You really can't take the scooter out of the 'scooter trash.'

The best part of this whole weekend was the email from the guy selling the Husky. He's got an offer but wanted to give me a chance 'cos he thinks I can handle the bike and the guy making the offer can't. Now that made me feel good.

I've ALWAYS wanted a Honda Elite 250. Buying from the original owner who moved to Florida with his Honda Spree and left the Elite in RI. I just love these things. Rear brake is on the floorboard like a REAL scootah.

congrats on the new scootah! It would have been nice to see you on a big Husky; A big Ducati would be even better! But a new ride is always a good time.. I just hope you are planning to ditch the scootah's saddlebags and IMAX size windscreen....

and Grace Jones is OK I guess but I've always been more of a DEVO guy.

Went for a quick ride this Sunday in the greater Lincoln area and had a blast. Love this beautiful weather, hopefully we have another winter like last year.
