My wife's cousin (He's in hi 50's) is in what I call a scooter gang. A bunch of guys his age, all with scooters, ride all over the place stopping for coffees and sandwiches and other gang related activities on weekends. They seem to have a ball. He has even put 50cc decals on his 185 to beat the registration law. What an evil force these guys can be!

That's fantastic. Love the Adventure scooter.

Yea the 250cc scooters will do 75-80mph. A lady I met had an Aprillia 500 scooter that she said did 115mph. She rode across the country, 2 up, with her daughter. No problem.

I'm really sorta loving these latest posts

I take the Buddy on 195, no problem. Anything 150cc and up is "freeway legal." 65mph on 10 inch wheels!

Plenty of folks have ridden 50s (here and here) and 125s across the country. You don't need a 250 to ride in this area, so don't think bigger is better. Bigger is more weight, and mrs. akarob may want something as light as possible.

And the bigger scoots don't usually have flat floorboards, so how ya gonna get home with the 20lb bag of catfood, the two cases of bird suet, the pails of litter, the cases of Strongbow, the 18-packs of toilet paper?

Ah, the Terror Flex. It wears like iron and it's about the biggest and heaviest tire you can run. Not for bikes under 500cc really. I knew a guy that ran one on an XR650R. That bike could handle it well. It'll be a little slippery at first on the road until it scrubs in. An absolute monster in the dirt though.

Ahhh! I need to get back on the trails!

Hey Guys!

It is time... Time to get back on the trials! I am almost done with the KLR.. Check it out

All I have left to do is put the PDM 60 in the bike and the blinkers as well as the exhaust. Oh and I will be putting more aggressive tires. (Need any input as possible) What I have done was chopped the rear tail off added some paint.. all new wiring harness.

If you guys have any ideas for the KLR or who ever wants to ride let me know. This weekend I might bring my uncle out in Pachaug.. New Twisted employee..

Let me know!

See You all later.
