Well at least it didn't get swallowed up by the swing arm and lock up the tire at speed.

How did the bike handle with extra weight?

Damn I was gonna hit Turtle up for a river run on Sunday if rain cooperates, well have fun.

Guys I am planning to pre run my Adirondack trip starting next Thursday the 13th. Up can crash at Lake George for free one night then do the dirter portions of the ride as well as visit restaurants, staying over up there somewhere

So any adventure bike types want to go for a little ride ?

Didn't notice any issues on the PDR...
I did get some wobble trying to go over 65 on the slab...

This is like the Vermont Big Bike Drop-O-Rama lately. Glad to see you all had a good time and I'm sorry I missed out on the fun. Thanks to all for posting.

Vt, Ct, RI... New England is small enough that practically everywhere is local.

Safe travels, I'm off for a while myself on Friday. Lets get together when you get back next year for some cold 1s. Maybe I'll even do a "He's Back" CnR.

Something about this sport where you buy something and you soon decide you don't like it and you want something else...and you end up with multiples of everything.

So far I have:
1 bike (like a lot, but need a big bike)
4 jackets (still need a new one)
1 pant (need another pair)
2 helmets (need a ds one)
2 gloves (ok here)
0 racks (guess this is my next purchase)
1 boots
1 tent/pad/sleeping bag (pad is good, rest I would like to upgrade)

and I probably have the lest stuff of everyone...

One tent? Jeez, after I gave one to Lester3, I'm down to 5. And yea, I could get another.

I have
a well used 8 person that I had to replace the main zipper on.
a good condition 6 person dome, a bit large for bike camping, but not bad either.
my current 2 person is ok, but not much head room.
a small kids tent.
and a large cabin tent that's only good for hiding coolers from the DEP.

I think a good quality 4 person dome may be in my future

Good point about acquiring multiples. I know Matt will be chiming in on this one.
