I'm bummed I missed the BBA this weekend but I used my limited free time to get my bike sorted out for the Roaming Rally.

Well, I was packed and thought to myseld, I have room for another cot, why not? Kept my stuff off the ground. lessons learned - if I bring the big tent, from now on I have to bring better tent stakes. It really catches the wind.

So did you catch anything? I'm assuming that rod wasn't used in the mudhole you posted a pic of?

No, no fresh fish dinner. Thats ok. It was nice out and that was a welcome change.

After cleaning the bike and inspecting stuff, I noticed I am missing the master link clip. I hope a 520 size clip fits, it may be hard to track down a 530 within a couple days.

Switched to rivet type link after I lost clips on 2 of my bikes, buying a chain tool is cheaper than new cases.

Thanks akarob for the visual of the bike packed. I was bummed when I got back and you were already gone.

That pic from the end of day 1 with the Yuengling gift from Nelson (thanks man!) makes me look as tired as I felt, thanks for that. At least it was a good tired.

I have another picture from Saturday morning as you emerged from the tent. It wasn't as flattering so I didn't post it. It definitely captured your mood at the time though. ARGH !

Nelson is the man. Tools and beer. Plus he rode nicely with us. He sure can wheelie a KLR too, wow. I like his technique of dragging the left foot.

Should be a 525. I have a spare for the RR.

wow... nearly a MONTH between posts...

This thread has been slow recently. What would Mr. T 10 times over think???
What I think is that we need to get a big bike drop-o-rama ride going one of these weekends to get the gang back together and maybe even entice some new participants as well. I'm more than willing to throw my F650gs through some hardship she really doesn't deserve. Who's with me???

The Berkshires is nice (strompers ride) but keeping with the theme of this thread I would say another Pachaug area ride, a North-Eastern CT / North-Western RI JGormley ride, or a ride out by me in almost central CT would be the way to go. Perhaps even with an optional night of camping, or even two nights! The possibilities are literally endless if you think about it..

We should plan something for early July.. Either the 5th/6th, 12th/13th or 19th/20th.. Lets just hope that whatever weekend we choose is not as unbearably hot and humid as MrT-10xS going away weekend was..

anyone interested?
