Riding does not get fun until after 3 or 4 six packs............

I never understood the appeal of driving someplace to drink, then risking everything to make it home. Not in this day of over regulation by overzealous cops supporting the corrupt judicial systems of counties like Fairfax. Wow,,,that opened a can of worms,,,,, .

Back in the day, we drove around drinking a 6-pack with our open containers perched on the dash. That behavior ended in the late 70's. What's your response to my original question? I've never seen the appeal of going out to drink. Although I occasionally go out to my garage and slam a couple.
Thanks for sharing, Dad.

We're meeting for a beer or two, as adults sometimes do.

If the condescending tone was unintentional I accept your apology.

The drunk driving laws definitely are pretty stiff in good ole Virginny. The legislature took most of the discretion away from the courts by imposing mandatory sentencing guidelines. And the Supreme Court of both VA and the US has upheld the constitutionality of sobriety check points, which sort of gets rid of the "lack of probable cause" defense.

Not like the old days...

So 1 or 2 is all for me when driving. EnloeWife would burn the GS if I got a DWI.

You bastards need to be hard core "adventurers" and ride in the cold to Fredericksburg. Then Tim can buy ME a beer.

Hell, I'd meet you guys, I work off Sunrise Valley. But I ain't gettin' into shitty traffic to have a beer with you.
