This is really a simple mod.. I suck at anything electronic... suck at soldering, and generally suck at small detail work.. still after one failed attempt that cost me one $2.00 plug, I moded two bases in about 30 minutes.. give it a try.

Sorry for the delay...
I'm really sorry but a few weeks ago I went in for emergency open heart surgery and have been pretty much down for the count. I am back and able to do the mods again at this time.
Your unit was shipped last friday afternoon. I completed all the clamps I had and returned them. At this point I have done dozens of these mods, all of them went back the same day they were received. I just had a health problem, triple bypass and the repair of a hole in my atrial septum wall the size of a nickel. I'm up and about now, exercising every day and in a Cardiac Rehab program FWIW. Although, it will still take a couple of months before I'm riding again, serious bummer. Your clamp should be in your hands shortly if not already. I can always be reached by sending an email to eileen.kelleher@gmail.com If any of you feel cheated or like I misrepresented anything just send me a pm and I will refund your money, I can't do much more than that. Thanks much. Eileen |

Glad to hear you are recovering well. That is a major surgery to go through.

Go JetGrl!
I am simply amazed by Eileen/JetGrl and hope you Cardo Scala G4 owners appreciate the service she is providing. I did mine myself and am happy I didn't screw it up! Keep this in mind:
- $30 is a fantastic price for this painstaking, sensitive work - she now has experience with dozens of jobs, so she will do a better job than you could yourself - she turns the units around in a day, or so - she APOLOGIZES to her customers for having open heart surgery!!!! It is great to know that people like this exist. Thank you Eileen/JetGRL and I hope you are back to 100% soon!

Another happy customer of Eileen's/Jetgrl's Cardo Scala G4 ear bud mod. She did the work and had the headset back to me in just over one week. It works great! Thank you, Eileen.

From Eileen:
I'm still getting better each day. I feel probably the best I ever have in my life due to the efficiency of my heart now. I even started riding again. I was looking for another bike and went to GoAZ in Scottsdale. I talked to Jason, who sold my beloved FJR to me last year and he offerred to let me ride a 2010 Honda VFR1200f. It will be coming home with me next week, I got a screaming deal on it. Anyway, that was the first time I rode since the heart surgery. Thanks to all who had kind words to say, I think I am going to be in great shape soon, thanks to a really good surgeon. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk |

Can anybody point me to a seller of the mini jacks. Live in Norway and want to do this modification during wintertime, but struggling to find the right female mini jacks!
