I think I have 172/45 in currently. I bumped the pilot because of a lean stumble/rev at idle. I always carry one size up n down in case I have to rejet trailside.

PS, Swiss Joe's bringing his ATV along.

I found my 162 and 160. I got a new 170 and 172. I cannot find my 165 however hopefully I still have the 38 pilot in, but I think it's in the same bag.

I need to find one of those boxes that holds jets. Tried finding em on RMATV a few times with no luck. that site's search engine sucks

I stopped by the Sheboygan marsh last night on my way home from work. The ice is there w/ some snow but I wouldn't trust it just yet. About 1/2 of the "big" area right by the damn looks as though it has JUST frozen over in the last couple days since there is no snow on it.

Have you tried Fleet Farm/Wal-mart/Gander Mountain? Just use a little tackle box from the fishing dept, you don't need a special "Jet Carrier".

If this top secret location does not pan out soon,
I may bring the bike to work and ride the back parking lot.

Maybe

Actually I found one of those multi compartment mini nail/screw kinda things. will work well and can get the socket in there. The fabbed cases are nice as they hold a wrench and the jets secure. Used to have one way back when for the FZR. Found a pill bottle that will work too.

Bring a 165 along if you got it, I'm gonna put the 170/38 combo in.

oh, according to my book, a 168 is good for -5 - 21 or something like that and 165 19-40f

That's why i think 170 is gonna be a bit rich

So I've never ridden a bike on the ice but I have done my share of time trial type ice racing in a car over the years. The majority of it has been on Lake Sinissippi in Hustisford. I always see sleds & ATVs on the lake but don't recall ever seeing bikes. So I have no idea about legalities, statutes, etc.

My point is, that since the course has to be plowed for the cars to race on, there will be a track conveniently plowed out on the lake between events , as long as it's not covered by new snow. The public landing they use is here.

That's closer to us,
but I am hoping the new Westside location will be Rock Lake.

Turns out Zora knows a plow guy.

I wanna ride so bad I can't blink.

I think I might safety wire that front tire though

The she boogie marsh is safe. People only fall through in spring or fall- usually when they ride over the cattails. There's is a lot to explore out there. Takes us all of the way to never never land of churches and windmills.

When I was out there last year on my lonesome I made sure not to stray toooo far from the main channel. It was pretty cool actually being out there all alone. Cold as shit though. I needed heated grips
