The Fredette's started to bite better as the day wore on. Apparently I was doing it wrong. Swiss said that it was that I wasn't cranked on the throttle hard enough, the tires don't like to be babied (and he proceeded to pass me onthe outside through the fluff).

Scott said that the tire carcass needs to flex and roll a bit to loosen up the cords as everything is stiff when delivered.

I also noticed the black was wearing off the points and the shipping oil came off the screws too.

I was trying to ride them like the AMA's on the KDX, and they don't like to be ridden that way.
It was nice of Joe to pass the line of us and then wait to do it again

I found myself having to let off the gas to get around the corners since I felt I was leaned as far as I should. Even hard on the gas it wasn't slipping. Which I prefer, but it's not the fastest way around a corner.

also of huge detriment is a 5 speed close ratio gear box

Email from mom

Received this from my mom. I thought it may brighten the outlook of the ice rider:

Cold is a relative thing ya know....

At 65 degrees, Arizonans turn on the heat. People in Minnesota plant
gardens.
At 60, Californians shiver uncontrollably. People in Minnesota
sunbathe.
At 50, Italian & English cars won't start. People in Minnesota drive
with the windows down..
At 40, Georgians don coats, thermal underwear, gloves, wool hats.
People in Minnesota throw on a flannel shirt.
At 35, New York landlords finally turn up the heat. People in Minnesota
have the last cookout before it gets cold.
At 20, People in Miami all die. Minnesotans close their windows.
At 0, Californians fly away to Mexico . People in Minnesota get out
their winter coats.
At 10 below zero, Hollywood disintegrates. The Girl Scouts in Minnesota
are selling cookies door to door.
At 20 below, Washington DC runs out of hot air. (Ya think? Nah.).
People in Minnesota let their dogs sleep indoors.
At 30 below, Santa Claus abandons the North Pole. Minnesotans get upset
because they can't start the snowmobile.
At 40 below, ALL atomic motion stops. People in Minnesota start
saying..."Cold enough for ya, eh?"
At 50 below, hell freezes over. Minnesota public schools will open 2
hours late.

I think the team is Swiss Joe, Cory, myself and.....
I asked Zora's brother if he wants to be on the team, but haven't heard from him.
How many people can be on a team?

Looks like there might be enough snow to insulate the ice against any more cold temps.

Oh, And I wouldn't mind being part of a Nun Bus team as well!

Location "X"

Operation sharktooth.

A few photos of bikes being dragged in,

Forks ground through in milliseconds,

And, safety wire working.

But not before dragging some bars on some real smooth ice:

5 lap stints? That should about equal what we put on Sunday.

Swiss wants to go longer. You place better.

You guy's do realize there's no alcohol inthe pits right? There goes boomer, Clark, Ben........

So Adam, Swiss, Ben, Clark?

Problem for this weekend isn't the ice, but the cover. We have trucks to move snow, but not enough ice to hold the trucks up.

I can't scout Friday night as that's the missus Christmas Party.
