that's a pretty sweet trailer rig. Yeah the truck would have to be in reverse to keep the gearing more simple. very cool.

Its mentioned in the comments that the control is via a wireless controller in the cab of the truck, Also that the rollers are running hydraulic pumps.

I assume that either the reversing is an artifact of the FPS the movie was captured at and its actually in drive, Or that the designers were trying to limit the speed at which the truck would spin the pumps.

Forecast shows Sunday's going to be a great day. Unfortunately, the forecast puts a few inches of snow down too. the ice is too shitty for the banana, which makes us use ATV's. So who's got ATV's we can use for a one last ride on Winnebago (long range shows absolute crap past this weekend).

Couple of my students said the south end has gone to shit.
West side is just plain scary, and with some cracks opening... The ice could roam like a gypsey.
Have to take a look later today or Fri./Sat.

Are these the same students that sunk a sled earlier this year?

I drove by Pete's yesterday and all looked fine.

West side has been scary all year long.

the "ice" off Oshkosh is.......sketchy....most of Miller's bay had white caps on it last night.

I think your 'few inches' of snow got upgraded to 6 inches of wet and heavy... Might be tuff to plow with quads.

I checked earlier tonight. It is F'ed up. The crack from last WE is 2-4 inches wide with 1/16th " of ice.
The snow from last night really messed it up! Might have been OK if not for that.
Snowy crap then a layer of water then ice. And there were a bunch of birds out by the east end of the track!
This tends to mean open water.
Unless it rains a lot Fri. and freezes hard Sat. ( not going to happen)

We are done for the year.

Well, you could come over with Augie (bring a bike) and just look at the lake.

He could teach you how that is done! Of course 50% of the time he rode a bike over. The other 50% he drove a van with a bike and left the bike on the van? Fork lift fumes????
