I think BMW cheap would buy a set of used ones and still be reasonably well off as long as there as the tire covers match the riding gear.

KLR cheap is taking a lap or two one someone else's.

I'm glad I bought my tires last year. But for some reason it didn't turn me into a pro racer. Must need a KTM

Well then, put me firmly in the KLR Cheap category then.

As soon as I can afford a dirt bike, I'll have on with ice tires. But that seems a long way off right now.

BTW, Canadians and Fredette's are equal on clean ice. The Canucks work better when the top is fluffy. But I have a plow.
