We always appreciate and enjoy product reviews from the buyer, however, when the vendor steps into the thread and begins to post prices and answer questions, it becomes spam.. We have one forum for vendor spam and it's in Vendors where this thread has been moved.

"Vendors who post will be expected to introduce, discuss and answer inmate questions regarding their products and services." - from vendor forum rules, by GB

Am I missing something here?

I am thinking if the thread is in the vendors forum all is well, but if vendors post in a regular forum trying to sell... then it gets moved to vendors?

I believe that GBoys comment was placed at least a month after the thread was in the Vendors area. There must have other reasons not obvious to us inmates.

Your right, this thread has been in vendors since 10-13-2010.

Exactly... If inmates want to do a review of a product in the bike forums, great, but once the vendor comes in and starts giving prices and talking about his products, it's considered spamming and it gets merged with his existing thread in Vendors, as the second portion of this thread was moved from P.U. to here and merged.

There is. 10% off for orders before the end of the year, so they work out at $440 until then.

So, get your wallet out

Cheers Ian

I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these. Anyone else have comments on this unit before I do so?

COLD!!!

geared up!

she's ready to go!!

screen is all the way up...

don't she look purty?

damn winter!

took it up to 100mph no problems. The gauge cluster could be tighter. Gonna put an extra rubber washer underneath and try. Zumo 550 will be mounted up top soon.

I am 175 6'2" 34" inseam. Shoei Hornet DS helmet.

Took a detour thru the twisties on the way to work was colder up there! 20 something degrees, but could ride more than comfortable with the shield all the way up and my helmet visor open. could see my breath while breathing and didnt blow away. No buffeting. Gonna ride some dirt and gravel back roads on the way home will advise. The construction is quite good really doesnt rattle and shake. Good mounting points and all.

Only concern is that when I get my higher seat I am worried if I will fit behind it. Kinda wish the movable lip and a old dakar F650GS lip at the top to throw the air up. possible a Home Depot project for later!

Cheers!
Any questions?

Ben, anything you would like to comment on after having it on your bike for awhile? How well does it work on the rougher roads?

Ian, is there any chance you woud offer a darker /smoked top screen instead of the clear?

Yes, if there is demand for it. We used to offer a darker screen option on our other fairings, but the problem is that they look good out of the box, but soon get scratched up out on the trail. Maybe a lot of the GS fairings won't see any off road action, so perhaps it's worth thinking about.
