Good purchase.. the TSB's are mild and not all the vins required the updates. You got a great bike with a tough disposition. Ride it, don't baby it, it will treat you well.. Just don't get excited with the rattle can noise while she runs compared to its refined siblings.

I just picked up a white one too, I don't think shes too photogenic at the moment. I'm trying to add a bit of colour to her with decals you know to take out the sickly look she has.

After reluctantly reliquishing my 2008 to the insurance company I finally negotiated a deal on the 2011. 5 phone calls, and one insurance check later.... Just need to install all the crap I took off the old bike. Gotta love a project!

Back to the Adventure..

Looks like a rough neighborhood. Somebody jacked your rear wheel.

Wicked My 950 Adventure :D

Here is my new to me '04 950 Adventure
There is only one word to describe riding this bike AWESOME!!!

I have only had it for a month now but I got it with only 11500km so there are many more miles left in her.

Heres a few pics from my ride this weekend to the Vredefort dome area in South Africa.

Yeah its made but a small company here in South Africa called Dual Purpose Adventures.
http://www.dualpurpose.co.za/accessories.html

Its a really good plate if you look carefully there is a dent in it where the rider crash the bike hard and the plate hit a rock. So the plate definitely saved the engine as he rode teh bike home after and he is still using the same plate today.
