First ride this (winter)spring

Did my first ride with my new to me KTM 990 Adventure 2012.

What a ride it was...

Getting back home was a bit tricky though

got the old girl out again a few days ago. She doesn't get ridden enough these days, since I bought my 530.

You, sir, suck.

Instead of dodging rocks and washouts with the Rockies in the background I get to dodge soccer moms in Suburbans with skyscrapers in the background.

That really is a good picture though.

Looks awesome - I am considering that high front fender conversion but not sure about high speed head shake on the freeway above 150kmh

Whats your experience with that been like to date?

Don't know if I can wait for these tires to wear out before I put on some knobbies.

One of the best mods I've done. Looks like a proper dirtbike fender, provides easy access to the wheel and tire and no worrying about locking the front wheel in mud. Also, no issues with water spray or higher cooling temps.

^^

+n.
great mod. No high speed issues. No cooling issues. No mud issues.

The only place I have not tested is high speed sand - e.g. Desert riding.
