Have you ever seen such a clean bike? It's my brand new 990R. Time to make it dirty

I had to drive on the terrible tarmac because it's the only roads that are free of ice and good enough for the rimguards on the bike.
Now it has rolled 24 km.

I agree with you, the fender is "too much" orange and overpowers the color scheme of your bike. If I were you I'd mask it off and paint the fender you have so that only orange pin stripes remain (or some other pattern with a touch of orange) and paint the rest to match the main anthracite color. If you just want to bolt up a fender, I'd go for black with your scheme.

Hi, yes i have squeezed two hid projecetors in to the headlight and painted the
reflector black. For more information go to :
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=757704&page=6
But be warn, it is a very tight fit. You have to trim the reflector for the upper projector to fit in the headlight.
The result is rewarding both for looks and light output. At low beam both hid projectors are on(you get that rally look) and at high beam the solenoid opens and let some more light come out.

Testing a low mounting point for the camera last week end. May be you like to watch one of the many Patagonia's looks.

Talking Ruin

You guys sure make the best efforts possible to ruin my day and my shirt!!!
I sit here drooling and pining watching pics of KTMs in all places all colours all situations and all stunning.
Herr Geek you have made me want to go to Colorado, big time
Alas no time so your splendid pics will suffice, almost.
And you other guys who jump and slide about and repair a million flats in a milli second, keep up the good work.
In a week I'll be in Cali and doing that properly and then Baja and a bit of Mexico, 6 weeks of motorbike traveling.
Hints and ideas of reasonably cheap places to stay in Cali will be received with mucho gratitude and above all places NOT to be missed.

Nah, this is near Moab, UT. It's on Seven Mile Rim.

I have some buddies who went to Hole in the Wall last weekend. It looks really cool. I'll have to venture over there after some of the snow melts.

This is almost painful for me to do as the bike far too clean... In my defense, it's brand new and has less than 300kms on it. I've been dodging snow flakes and ice to get some kms in, but this crappy Alberta weather is just NOT cooperating. I promise there will be much better pics of a very dirty and probably dinged/scratched/mangled 990, lol!

The white has seriously grown on me and I can hardly wait to see what mud brown does to enhance it, ;)
