I got this about 40 days ago, now at 2700 miles. This was the second time I had road the 990 on gravel.

Getting ready for north to Alaska. Brought a second 990 (the dakar) and moved a bit of black and orange around between them.

Like the Dakar looks better with more black from guards and seat change. It gets more orange again later today with orange engine guards.

The orange 990 is more orange which works for me but it does get a seat concepts black seat and orange make over later today.

Been an expensive exercise but don't think I can ride a 990 with good screen protection, backside comfort and kaoko throttle lock and not set the second bike up the same.

Took her for a ride to Idaho Springs.

Then a well deserved bath.

When do you leave? My neighbor who has the '12, 990 (1 year newer than mine) is headed there tomorrow.

Kreiga Overlander-60 system mounted on the KTM HB Pannier rails.

http://www.kriega.com/overlander-60/

Its a hard plaform that has a flexible location for 4 clamps. Onto this platform are 2 Kreiga 15 roll top bags per side. Works well and survives laying the bike on it's side.

I really like the look of that bike - abused like a 950 should be! Like that you've kept 2x silencers as well - always looks better.
I think some of the sponsors got mis-spelt....
