Alex, I see they forgot your high-end rear sprocket as well, KTMs web advertises the bike with their aluminum/steel sprocket as stock, mine had the same sprocket you have so my salesman is supposed to be contacting the company to get the better unit.

My wife and daughter didn't like the color of the Baja.
I Thought I bought a blue one on Sunday previously owned and fully kitted.
ALso thought I would get to ride it home. Didn't work out.

But, then that means I have to go look harder at the Baja.

We'll see how this trip to the well works out.

That was an amazing video. Must have taken months to compile all that footage. Thanks!

The road conditions looked really bad to me. Do many of you ride in these conditions? I have some experience with snotty mud and know enough to know the trip featured in the video would be exhausting. Looked like a total blast though.
Thanks,
In the first picture, it's a camping road and there's no where to go.
That's normall road condition in Russia. I was two time in Russia In this year, both was very interesting. The Russian roads are the reason, why we are going there.
Sorry about my english.

I fixed mine after it was wrecked. Shes riding around again. all crash bars are still tweaked and the akros are still taco'd. but she rides down the road straigh and still pulls wheelies.

I finally decided a few months ago I was going to drink the orange kool-aid.

After a load of searching around I gave in and went to the dealer to bite the bullet and buy the Baja

I'd been in back in April and again a weekend ago.
Walk into the dealer and he says "so, how much do you want the Baja?"

I'm thinking uh oh. Price just became a bidding war.

Nope, turns out there was this very low miles 990 R coming in 2010, no ABS. Just about perfect. Did I mention low miles?

2,200 miles and change.
We unloaded it off the truck and fired it to life.
Perfect. and a nice coat of mud on it just to make it look extra appealing.

Dealer wants to check it over, and give it a wash. So we meet back there today. I go for a little toot. And I buy it at the asking price. I know there are three guys lined up behind me. One offered to buy it over the phone, but I got there before he called.
So, I know I have little bargaining power.

I should have been here three years ago buying this new, it could be working it's way to 100,000 miles now.

Now we work some details out and it then it can come home with me and I can quit commuting in my wife's car.
