Half of that should be spent taking MANY pictures and labeling bolts and other parts so assembly will be go smoothly and you can look up placement of parts when you run into trouble.

Some kind of tray to keep things organized really helps, I use a non permanent marker to label each comparment (just take care to not smudge out the writing).

Thanks man,
I am trading my Tiger (pussy) 800 in against a white 990 adventure this weekend and a powder coated orange frame is on the list of things I will be doing
Thanks again for the advice

Great shots of the sleeping beast, but next time you are out there take some shots of the forts, I'd like to get out there one day to see Wellington's line.

The lines of Torres Vedras, two defensive lines built in secret between the atlantic and the Tagus river north of Lisbon built between Nov 1809 and Sep 1810, over 1000 guns and nearly 70,000 men garrisoned there. Belived to be the most effective military fortifications ever built in military histroy. Built to repulse the third French invasion of Portugal during the peninsular war.

Have a look on the net loads of information, most of the fortifications are still there and worth a vist, if you have any interest in Napoleonic histroy.

Not Rally as in Motoring event but rally or treffen as in camping party get pissed weekend, http://www.motoclubefaro.pt/ how can anyone not have heard of Faro? 60,000+ people there the night that Iron Maiden played on the main stage

A week or so touring down there through Portugal, a weekend of bikes, beer, music, women, and beach, then back on the bike a quick 3 day blast to get home again in time for tea toast and tiffin ;-)

Three days to London? I got there in 9 hours from Heidelberg and that was on the two hour ferry from Donkirk (sp?).
