What's your tire pressure? Are you a big guy or carry lots of luggage?

Here is what mine looks like with 2300 miles

KTM 950/990 Adventure owners show off your bike

I'm a little guy and didn't have any luggage when I last used the stock Pirelli scorpions, and they looked almost exactly like the 4.3 k mile examples above when I tossed em.

At 2700 miles.

It truly bizarre how variable tire wear is on these bikes.

haha I don't think it's that much of a mystery - I bet there's a pretty decent correlation with the activity in your right wrist.

And the use of the rear brake, some guys use it, some not much.

Most of my riding buddies have 1000cc sportbikes

It's for when it's cold out and cruising down to a stop light trying to keep your right hand in your pocket.

That's funny I was just wondering the other day if I'm the only one that rarely uses the rear brake. I'm also a bit worried about tire consumption as I've lost a few chunks off of my 908 after only the third ride!

How else do you steer around sharp corners if you aren't using the rear brake? Or sliding into a parking spot for that matter!? ;)

Funny!

Mine works so poorly that you can't put that level of confidence in it.

It's my first bike with abs and all it does is annoy me when it pulses the rear tire. Front abs is ok. Pulsing front let's me know when I should pay more attention.

My 990 hasn't been off road yet. ABS is definitely getting turned off then.

I played with some stickers between holiday baking sessions,

HumVee Graphics reflector strips,

With the flash so the reflectivity shows up,

Then I added a little personalization to my new hat,

After Thanksgiving I'll get these spooned on and go check out my rusty dirt skills.

This is my third XD. The first two saw me through nearly 200,000 miles. I like this one even better. Very good anti-fog ventilation for here in Southern California.

I went to the Aerostitch pop-up event down in Oceanside yesterday. I got fitted, but didn't buy anything.
I can't quite pull the trigger on a grand for commuter gear my Crossfires won't fit under.

Appreciate the insight! Have a Fly now which has poor closure between shield and helmet itself. Been looking to upgrade. Btw, just picked up a new to me 05.5 950. As luck would have it, just bought it and got a foot of snow on the ground last night. Waiting for skid plate, side stand relo and a set of tkc's and will be ready to go when the snow melts over next couple of weeks. Looking forward to my first ride on this big girl.
