Finally I got your pic rightside, but not cpmodem's.

You say the seat's not too bad. Is your's the gel? I am looking into getting one (maybe you've seen the seat thread). When I was in Alvin's a couple of weeks ago, I nearly tried sitting on what I guess is your bike now, to see if it was and how it felt compared to mine.

BTW, they had a KTM 950 tank bag in there that someone didn't want after ordering and had been sitting there some time, it was originally about £90 and he said I could have it for 70 and I got the impression he'd go lower.

This, by the way is up in them thar Ladder Hills (I think), a little West of Aberdeen.
mrjemm, I noticed a 950 very similar to yours in Dennis's shop the other month, have you traded up?

just a note for your diary, MAG are holding their annual Aberdeen rally on 22nd April.

Hi Stevie, no. I was trying to sell it, having taken the 400 off his hands, but recently a change of heart had me take it back, so I now run 2 bikes, even if I can't really afford to. I love it too much! I think he marked it up too high, but all the better for me in the long run.

See how my finances work out this near future... Now off to see the guy about maybe getting a Gel seat.

My bike is an 04 model so I think the seat will be the same as yours. The most I've done in a day on the 950 is just over 200 miles - I've found the seat fine at that distance. I'm riding down to Morocco later this year so we'll see how I feel about it after that!
Thanks for the tip but I've never liked tankbags although I do like the little cubby-hole on the KTM!

It was just some problem with my server I think. I can put mine up, I just couldn't see the ones on the page... But they came a bit later.

And just for fun, I will! Today, up in the hills south of here, and about one minute before the snow that froze my nads and made my return to Aberdeen a challenge began.

Bloody good run all the same though.

Here's some shots of my ride up into the Malibu Alps this morning. Beautiful day on the West Coast

As always, the silver Lipizzan performed flawlessly.

Looks very nice cpmodem - it also looks amazingly like parts of Kintyre in the West of Scotland (bit warmer though obviously!).

Yup, it can get very Scot-like around here. Today though, the winds picked up , and I called it quits after a mere 150 miles when the rain started Been a balmy 60 deg F all day. Spring must be just around the corner
