How do you like the Rally Raid fairing vs. Stock? And what rear luggage racks are those and how do you like them?

I have the rally raid on mine, it looks the the part and it protects pretty well. However if you look closely does fit as well as the oem screen and its a little flimsy at the bottom.

Off topic really but it don't deserve a new thread. 990 Adv '09. Anybody know the part number of the oil hose coming down on the left side of the bike from the top oil tank to right behind the slave cylinder? I couldn't find it at the OEM parts finder and the service manual don't mention the parts numbers. Got a small oil leak where the hose meets the case behind the slave cylinder and need to order a new hose.

Are you sure you need a new pipe? There are two metal oil pipes that go in the engine there. I wouldn't think they would break.

More likely I would think the fitting (two or three bolts IIRC) would come loose and would only need tightening or the little o-rings around those pipes needed replacement. Don't over tighten.

That's some good advice there, thanks a lot man. I am gonna check the fittings first. Didn't cross my mind at all, I just assumed that since I already changed the little tightening thing that goes around the hose (no idea what it's called) and the leak insisted it has to be a deformed hose that I should change.
Stupid question but I still have to ask... Metal pipe? I am pretty sure its relatively soft plastic.

The pipes are metal. I've only worked on them once when I installed the engine. They have either one or two o-rings and they just shove into the case then there are these two odd looking metal plates that bolt into the case that hold them in. Banjo fittings would have been better.

Don't over tighten the little MFers.

Had one of the pipes show some wear on the 950, just changed the clamp on the hose up to the oil tank so I could push the pipe further up into the hose to get clearance, now several years later I found out that it was from the touratech skid plate having deformed slightly, found that when moving it to then new 990R (might look for a different skid plate but this still beats the stock one for now):

Where the oil pipes enter the engine, found I had a bolt missing when replacing the balancer shaft seal:
