BigWan and I finally saw an 1190 the other day...

It merely reinforced my love for the 990.

I might change my mind about them if someone would donate one to the WANs and let them put it through what they put theirs through and liked it . I've read all their RRs and always thought I'd like to know what they would think of this bike . That would be a real shakedown IMO . Untill then I'm not convinced it's any match for the 9x0s I don't care how much hp they have .

Not to speak for Willy D.... But I have the same cans. Used the KTM rack and bought the mounts. A bit heavy, maybe twice the aluminum boxes, so I suggest using them for on road use, I use soft saddle bags and a Giant loop bag for off road. Boxes are leg breakers in my opinion. But they keep things dry and I made mine lockable. For about $40 a box compared to $400!! Or more for the name brand, it is well worth the looks and comments from the BMW guys. Guess they have money to burn. KLR guys get it though.
