I was looking on Alpinas and almost bought them. Differences between Alpina and Caponord Wheels - I think they are the same size, both use KTM hubs. Alpina has painted spokes and Caponord stainless steel. Both are tubeless, but I like more Caponord solution - spokes on the side of the rim.
I was trying to go down the path of the Caponord wheels but simply couldn't find any and then Alpina introduced their wheels which I was highly confident in given that their tubeless solution is proven and in use by OEMs today (as with the Moto Guzzi Griso and Stelvio - both use the Alpina tubeless wheels as standard).

In either case, the fact that the solutions (both the Caponord and Alpina wheel sets) use OEM KTM hubs was key to me - no adaptors or spacers and potentially compromised quality, etc...

Those are mounting racks for my Jesse luggage cases - they come with the cases and are very, very close to the bike - they add the least amount of width out of any of the other hard luggage solutions that I was able to find - especially the KTM Gobi solution which is what I was running on my former 950 ADV.

And here is a shot of the bike all kitted up for a camping weekend with my wife:

Nope, not me. I was up in Elk, Susquehannock, and Sproul state Forests Yesterday. I haven't been down that way yet, but I want to get down there soon!

Silver ones are growing on me. Nice bike indeed!
I hope I can ride in Namibia sooner than later, my brother lives in Walvis and I'll visit him one day for sure. Not a chance of taking my 990 with me but hope I can rent an small bike there, well at least that's the plan...
