I like that idea, I am going to find one of those! However it was quicker and easier to drag it, especially since it was near 90F and high humidity. Our 950's aren't garage queen material, we have no problem adding to their character and patina!

Fitting crash bars

Have you guys found that it's a bit tricky to get the crash bars mounted using the OEM lower tank mount bolt? The only option I can see it getting a longer bolt and a wide washer...

Tips please?

Leave it all loose, I get the bolt at the top of the battery cover in first, but, leave it loose. Then push up on the tank a little and slide the bolt through the crashbar and tank and line it up into the nut on that battery cover. Once I've hand started all six bolts, (both sides) then I start tightening.
Lower tank bolt first to snug, then the top battery cover bolts, then the back crashbar clamp. Making sure I didn't clamp any wires.
