I love the screen. Much better wind protection and looks great with the twin headlights.

All packed and ready to head to Taos, next week. Hmmnnnn . . . next week.

Now to kill time for a few days until the launch window opens.

Hey John, bike looks good. Glad to see your ready to roll.

Is that a charging port inside your tail box? I've been considering something similar to my tank bag.

It's not me. My bike is Narcoleptic.
Research is what I'm doing, when I don't know what I'm doing.

Yup, it's the Powerlet bulkhead fitting. They call it an "Electrix Connector" for some reason. It works great as a waterproof electric pass-through for either soft or hard cases. I have one on my Pelican box, and one installed on one of my Wolfman Expedition bags. Flexibility is nice. I can charge things while I ride so I don't have to discharge my battery while parked. I considered putting my charging port in the glovebox due to the convenience, but that means no charging when riding in the rain.

Once again, I was reminded that the 990 can encourage somewhat less than intelligent decision making.

Can't walk through fire, can't ride on water.

d00d - you need to listen to the little voices before you act!!!

Woulda like to have seen the process getting the bike out....

Hey, I did the fire walking just fine. It was the fire grabbing that I had difficulties with. Besides that, what makes you think the little voices are telling me not to do stuff like that? I have no real evidence they have my best interests in mind.

As far as seeing the process of getting the bike out, I would hope that you would be right there in the puddle with me to get it out. After the appropriate amount of laughter, of course.

Point taken. You need new little voices...

And yes, after a hearty "Holy Fuck! I got that on GoPro!" I'd help you move that monster from the puddle...
