Thanks guys!

You know, I was originally looking at a 800GS but when I found there was a KTM dealer less than an hour away, it was the "Orange Crush" group that convinced me this was the better way to go.

I am not a professional photographer - just an enthusiastic amateur. That image was shot off a tripod with a long (13') shutter speed and a bit of fill flash.

I live in Timmins, BTW

Dunstan trial past the Poolburn dam, complete bitch of a ride as it was the last day it was open and was a mud bog that the dirtbike boys had turned to mush, last part was fun tho (thats the bit in the pic).
I didn't have a stator at this point which was a slight issue.

Couldn't resist

Took me a couple of months to get through this thread, but now I am done and can contribute too

Just realized that I have many pics from this whole season. Finally it is below 0 C here and I will have time to do a summary of the whole season.

Hi, great looking bike, one question?

How are you finding the Mefos?

I am thinking of them as an alternative to Scorpions, what is your experience?

Mefos are definatelly better than Scorpions offroad and better than Mitas also. The life of them is much shorter though, I have had them half of this season and the last months I had to deflate them to get at least some grip from sides offroad. Overall I think 8K kms I got out of them-come to think of it-that s not bad.

I like them but here in Latvia they are 40$ more then Mitas and for the next season I can not decide which ones to ask from Santa, because Mitas (http://www.mitas.cz/index.php?strank...&thread=&size=) are not bad at all. If it wasn t for the extra $, I would definatelly go for the Mefos. But then again if it wasn t for the extra $, I would always use something like Dunlop Super Enduro D908 to have more fun in the forest but since I do 50/50 offroad and road, the tires really have to be dual sport.

Hope that makes sense.
OK. One more pic from just before GS Challenge this spring.
