3C is 37.4F. More importantly, moving water like he is riding in may not freeze until the temperature gets well below 0 (C). The stream feeding the lake up here didn't freeze until after we'd had several days on mid teen (F) temps (-10C)

Is this rock the fossil of the giant and mythical "cookie cutter" shark?

Ktben , mate it's real good so far, smooth delivery in every gear plenty of power over original.

More instant throttle response. i'm impressed. total weight 4.8 kgs over 12.95 kgs, not to mention the space your getting.

Have'nt pulled the plug on it yet , i'll savour that till later .

Cheers G2.

Yes your right that is a problem ,but have a look at where the center stand is in relation to the lowest point of the bike . It is the lowest piont. Even lower than the exposed pipe.

Not fully bottomed in this pic , any one got a better one??

Seems like there is enough room for a right hand side rear tank .

I am thinking of this type,

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=304101

if it exists for right side.
Then one could model his LC8 like Meoni's with two rear tanks.
maybe it would entail modifying the angle of the last tube before muffler along with a longer hanger...

My $0.02.

Hey Gimme, I've just switched to the same system, the G-It bash plate from www.adventure-spec.com is designed to work with this pipe, fits around it a treat.

Pyndon - will that GPR exhaust system and the G-IT bash plate still permit a center stand? Kinda tough to tell from the photo.

I have an SM-R and I'm thinking of doing a little conversion work and making it a bit more off road worthy.

That's great news Pyndon, i liked this style guard before cause of it's build.

Do you know if it protex the draw line of the pipe.

I am thinkin of makin a rallye style bash plate , useing the centerstand mounts and the horizontal bolt hole at the bottom of the motor as major anchor point,s. But this will be a mission, if the G-it cut's it , then i'll go for it.
Got any pics?
