Cyclegear sells the really thick number plate film in clear. I made a template and covered each side of the tank from that wear area you show all the way up to the radiator exit near the front of the tank. Good stuff.

The 3M is the clear stuff that they sell for cars and such. Its different (alot thicker) than what you can get from a Lettering/sign business.

That's a really pretty bike (I like the TT HID lighting), but are you just looping the front crossover line over the tire with no support? I'm no expert, but I think that is just begging for disaster!

Look in this forum, there are examples of guys adding a second line, using a longer banjo bolt at the caliper, to feed the right caliper or something like that. I'd be really careful with that exposed line hovering above your front tire man!

Nice bike though!

The brake line is very stable. I've got support on it; it's been that way for several thousand miles, including trails. You just can't see it.

These boots are excelent. The best off-road boots, IMO. But the inside rubber calf adjuster is too abrasive on the tank and frame. Especially with dirt and mud...
