I did an extended weekend trip on mine last weekend with the goal of doing a KTM track day at Mid Ohio on an RC8!

I caught up with some friends on Sport-touring.net up in Clearfield, PA for a meet and eat. While up in Elk County PA, I did a little exploring.

Then I made my way through Amish County (and thunder storms) in eastern Ohio. The next morning I headed to the track in the rain...

... to find out KTM and Mid-Ohio canceled the track day because they didn't want a bunch of first time RC8 riders to be out on a wet slick track.

So, no going balls out on an RC8 for me today.

I at least asked if I could take the beast out to run few wet laps. I was told the garage is all the further I could take it.

So, I headed home... in the rain.

w00t! Cool stuff.

I'll need to get a trials bike first. I usually at least take my 525 up that road. Nice.
