30 day temporary registration
Hey Guys
Is the 30 day temporary registration permit from Arizona only available to vehicles registered/titled in Arizona. https://servicearizona.com/webapp/permit30/start.do I have ridden a colorado plated bike up from Ushuaia, Argentina but have been refused entry into Mexico from Guatamala because my registration has expired (something I had assumed was only going to be a problem when I got to The States). The Mexican Aduana have however said I will be allowed to cross if I can get a 30 day temporary registration. Does anyone know if it will be completely impossible for me to get one from Arizona? incidentally I am planning on titling the bike in my name in Arizona when I get to the States - dont know if this will help my case or not. Hope you can help Duncan |

I have no idea.
But it's an online process so I'd try starting the process and then see if I'm able to complete it. If it works then print your plate, if it doesn't work then figure out something else. |

Try this one. "Restricted Use 3-Day Permit" There used to get your unregistered vehicles to the MVD to get them registered. It may get you across the border!!

I am pretty sure AZ or any State except Colorado will want to 'verify' the bike before issue a reg.
I'd take the plate off the bike and have someone carry it through border on a truck. You need to scout around and find a 'courier' to help you.

Would that be importing a motor vehicle, and would he be any better off?
