Tim,

I am a little ashamed to say that I may not bring out the 950 Adv. to this years event. What are your intentions? ANY chance you'd ride the 990 again?

Brent

Probably not, unless maybe we had a "fat chick class" for the big bikes, or something like that. I like to say that will ride my Adventure anywhere it will fit, but on singletrack and similar it often just is too wide and low.

Very likely I will have my 450EXC with 15/52 gearing and 5.6 gallon tank, possibly the 3.3gal depending on what notmybikemodelname declares for maximum required mileage. And this time, I'm gonna have muy GPS right where the rally guys have it, up front and high, even if it look srelaly silly without a fairing.

I heard riders will receive Double Prize Money if they ride the same bike they use for Clowns of the West.

What is the prize for Last place then? Would it even be anything if it were doubled?

Absolutely not, that would constitute a competition, now wouldn't it?

As the unofficial last place finisher who actually finished, I would say yes, definitely the prize for last place is worth something. Twice as much if doubled.

I am much richer just having ridden this non-event. Having finished the event makes it much more valuable. And that's not even considering the extremely lucrative prize list.

F-ng A. Double last place finisher prize money makes it possible to not even work at all for the following year. My appearance fee for speaking engagements alone is more than my annual salary prior to participating in the event that never happened.
