All poeple who signed up and paid a deposit for the first KotW, but could not go in the end need to notify me by January 1st whether or not they plan on attending this time. We only have 15 open spaces and over 50 returned applications so far, not including the 27 original riders who've all said they will attend again.

Well, we're getting close to the deadline for applications and rider selections!

It's funny, last year there was so much chatter about the upcoming event (and whether it would happen). Now, it seems like we all know it will happen and everyone is sitting back and waiting for something to go 'Boom'.

I just thought I'd reiterate how excited I am going into this event (and much less nervous than last year). Can't wait to see the final rider selection list and see who the new guys (and gals?) will be.

Merry Christmas, Kings.

Brent

You might regret it in the middle of it, but not at the end.

Yep, very quiet in ADVrider overall.

So far, only 21 riders from the first event have told me they will be attending the second event.

Looks like, we're going to have more new FF's this time around than I thought. The first one must've scared everyone away.

List of committed returning riders (includes riders who signed up but had to cancel last minute):
  1. Trailtrick (Javier)
  2. Razr (Charles)
  3. Herrhelmet (Jim)
  4. Me (Rob)
  5. Johnny_5 (Megan)
  6. BouncingBilly (Billy)
  7. Hilslamer (Tim)
  8. Brent347 (?Brent?)
  9. Mattomoto (Matt)
  10. Baja Joe (Joe)
  11. XRJohnny (John)
  12. Dirty Duane (Duane)
  13. Broken Spoke (Gary)
  14. WallyWhirled
  15. Crawdaddy (Chris)
  16. Cpt. Ron (Ron)
  17. Strega (Roger)
  18. Trick17
  19. CA Stu (Stu)
  20. Foul Plug, (Chris)
  21. Henrikbuus, (Henrik)
  22. HAPPYTRAILSINC (Scott)
  23. TBarstow (Support becomes rider)
  24. Endean (Jeff)
This means that unless we get more IN's from the first round, we'll be picking 16 new riders.

I am dying to go ride. This weather and work has kept me off the bike since Baja. -Oh and I was waiting for my finger to heal too.

How awesome it is to have this to be looking forward to (thanks Rob.)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all KotW amigo's and Senorita :)

Enjoy the Holidays.

Agreed, in fact, maybe all KotW alumni/finishers oughta just take the number that corresponds to their previous KotW finish position ......(that way I only have to put a single digit on my bike/helmet )

Speaking of digits.......

Merry Christmas to all......

Hey, didn't think my encrypted code was gonna get cracked that easy

-I'd proudly ride with any # on my plate! -And with that many possible rookies on the roster I might not wanna bring that much attention to my 'sleeper' strategy.
I'm on the BRP no matter what and It'll have terrain matching gearing this time. And I am very familiar with the terrain North and East of Big Pine
