I'd be up for Joe's Farm Grill meet sometime. I won't be able to do anything this week. I'm taking off for Dual Sport Desert Daze on Thursday sometime, so I have a lot to get done during the week to take some time off.
Great shot on the trail. Next time you guys plan a ride in the rain, post it. And if you did sorry I missed it. Does the trail go all the way. I thought it was closed.

Thanks for the post.

Nice! I like the water fall. You just don't get to see them in the desert very often.

That pic was from a ride last year. A chilly ride in the rain. Weather much like what we had this weekend. Wow, it was almost exactly a year ago...

Those waterfalls were cool. I've been down that road a bazillion times, but it was always nice weather so no waterfalls.

The trail goes all the way to Roosevelt. It's an easy dirt road. That day we just went to the Marina on Apache Lake for lunch and then came back through Tortilla flats.

Hey, Cyberdos!

It was really nice meeting you and Rob out on the trail today! Good to put a face to a name. :-)

Hope you guys had a fun rest of the day. I rode some deep sand, didn't do too badly compared to how I've done previously. Maybe I'm actually learning to ride in it.

Are you saying I don't resemble my avatar?
I'm so glad that you have your bike on yours because I would have just ridden right past you and thought nothing of it if you didn't. I have good footage of azgsgirl's super loud truck horn which will terrorize anyone that goes by her.

I'll post that up with several of yesterday's ride pics at Rolls.

Hey, sorry, everybody, but I just remembered I have a class tomorrow night! So, I won't be going to Joe's Farm Grill, in case anyone was planning on it. I totally forgot. I'd blow it off, but it's some computer sh*t that I really want to learn. And I also forgot it's the Tucson Dual sport Daze this weekend coming up. Oops.

So, we'll get together sometime soon. I really want to do some more exploring out there at Rolls/Sycamore before the weather gets hot.

We were going for the outside loop but we weren't able to find that trail that got us back to the parking lot where we started. Here's what we did.

That's climbing 522ft per mile that's scary steep. Couple of months ago we (me & Az Tom) descended 420 ft per mile for about 7 miles from z top of Dugas Mtn down to FR16 i thought that was extremly steep and long.
