I haven't gone yet... work has been getting in the way. I'm thinking a weekday early in the morning. I did this ride recently in my Honda CR-V with my two toddlers. It was a long drive with many pit stops... took me 3.5 hours! On a motorcycle it should be less time. I just don't like riding off road by myself so I'll wait until other adventure riders want to join.

been wanting to do 4 peaks but like you I not real big on solo in areas I don't know.

I'll be in town for a change, and will try to show up. The GSA has been in the shop for a week now following its breaking in Colorado last week at RMAR. Might have to drive instead.

Meet @ Dunkin Donuts NorthEast corner of Stapley and Baseline roads in Mesa - kickstands up @ 7:30 am
Secondary meetup @ Baja Chevron gas station Fort McDowell (Across the street from the casino) -kickstands up @8:00
Take Highway 87 to Payson and grab some food at a Cafe
After breakfast, 87 to east 260
260 East to FR300
Ride the FR300 westbound along the rim back to highway 87
(Those wishing to return home will depart)
Stop in Pine for dinner and relax until the sun is near set or take some side trails depending on time.
Head back to the valley on Highway 87 as the temperature drop hopefully below 100.

Keep me on the list of eastside rides and get togethers. I've been working way to much and something has to give. Need to ride.
The coffee get togethers work too.
I wanna know what happened to that GS that broke up in Colorado.

Last year we took this ride with a few klrs on the four peaks and it was pretty hot. A great ride .
Hope you guys have good ride this Saturday , Heading to the north for work on sat for the week.
