I was looking at a Super Sherpa on CL and did some looks at mods etc and came across this photo.
If this doesn't have Loren's name all over it I don't know what does. If you make about 3 or 4 racks like this we can ride out to Hell's Gate wilderness area!

This is going to be a dirt Noob friendly ride, but everyone's welcome to come along and enhance their dirt skills.

Is there anyone that would like to join us?

See you Monday

My dad and I pre-rode Bulldog in his truck to see what the rain has been doing to the trail. We rode from the north entrance to the south entrance. The sand was pretty packed and the ruts were not too crazy. Road 10 is super rocky with some pretty bumpy climbs.

Looks like a fun day.

Ive gotten into the (bad) habit of just popping the wheels off at home and bringing them in a shop for tire/flat changes. Mostly been scared of screwing up my rims trying to break the bead with screwdrivers ect as ive seen done previously while on the trail. Bout' time I man up, get some tire irons/proper trail tools, and learn it myself! Count me in if the class ever gets going

That is something I need to learn too. Will we be balancing our bikes on large rocks?

I've decided to order a Heidenau K60 Scout. Would you guys recommend I order it online and try to install it my self? Or any shops worth calling near Gilbert rd and Baseline? I know Zen Moto can order and install it but they are 40 miles away.

That just may be the coolest thing I've ever seen! I'm running ideas through my head even as I type this.

No, thank you guys for not leaving to out there die. Twice! I think Mount Graham is my new favorite location in Az. Twistyest asphalt ever, lots of great dirt roads, hiking/mountain biking trails, pine trees, rocky canyons and a lake. What more could I ask for? Flat proof tires, maybe?

Thanks for a great time yesterday. It turned into a LOOOONG day, but very much worth the ride. I definitely wanna go out there again sometime to make a weekend of it, bit of riding, fishing, hiking and camping is on the cards for sure!!

Here's the pictures I have. I was too busy looking around to take a bunch of photo's this time, but here they are.

Stopping at Coolidge Dam

Coolidge Dam

AZtinBender's first flat of the day

And one more for luck

The customary flower shot

Hanging out at the top of Mt Graham

Check out this view!!

We went looking for lake Riggs

We found it, but it looks more like a small dam than a lake to me

One last picture of the view

Thanks guys for another great ride

Bulldog Canyon is pretty diverse so if we see that we're pushing the limit too much we can opt for the easy stuff. We're thinking kickstands up at 7am at the Quick Trip on Ellsworth and University.
May I join you? See you all @ QT (Elsworth & University) @ 7am!

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry I have to pull out of tomorrow's ride, I have a bit of a crisis going on tonight that's going to make it impossible for me to be there. :(
