Very cool, Ricardo. I even saw myself in a few of those cuts.

I noticed you are having trouble with some of those uphills. Are you running stock gearing? I think you'll benefit from going to a 14tooth front sprocket.

Hey Julio, your fast pace made some of the highlights of my video, yes!

And I currently have 15/45. I'd like 14/45 for weekend fun and 16/45 for weekdays commuting! What do you think?

;)

I believe stock is 15/42 so by you having a 45 you're right at that 14t front ratio.

If you do a lot of street I'd leave it alone.

I suggest then, more seat time.

What model??? They now have several...Hero3White, Hero3silver, Hero3+Silver, Hero3black. Confusing for this old farm-boy
I was thinking of asking for the hero 3+ Silver a prosumer (not misspelled) grade camera and ordering a remote. The Hero3Black is listed as a professional grade (more buttons & options to confuse me) but has the remote included in the package.

Good question, I am not sure which one I would pick. I have a second generation Hero and it works pretty good, I am just lazy when it comes to the editing portion of the videos. I am sure Julio would have some great input on the go pro cameras, he is in the market for the newer version.

Can anyone recommend a good place to go on the east side of town, with a flat patch of dirt at least 100 yards by 100 yards, and predominantly just the typical desert surface of sand and desert hardpack with a little gravel?

I want to set out some cones and work on increasing my cornering speed and comfort on the dirt.

Someplace suitable to the recommendation in post #6 in this thread:

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=420721

I want to break my phobia (not fibula! ) of dirt cornering.

Even though I'm thinking about getting one I really haven't gotten serious enough about it to look into what model.

But I asked someone who has the other day and he sent me these links:

turkey frying

Short version: wonder if anyone is frying turkey for Thanksgiving and have time to fry one for me?

Long version: My parents are staying in an RV park while my father is taking care of some health issues at Mayo. 5 family members are coming out from Oklahoma for the holiday weekend. Don't have a big oven and Dad wants fried turkey. If anyone is going to have a fryer going and wouldn't mind frying another one for me that would be great.
I can bring the bird over Wed evening or Thur morning. We will be in the E University Drive and Val Vista area.

You can post here or PM me. Thanks
