sat ride

I'll do breakfast as well, but I'll have my bike in the truck so may just go to the staging area after we eat and unload at that point. My dr200 is a bit slow on open hwy sections.

More adventures

Well, guys, it's an "oops I did it again" ride. It was epic. Hal and I went in on Cherry Creek Rd., then got on FR202, then took FR54, and came out (in the dark) in Young. I crashed, rode some rough terrain, saw some beautiful scenery, and rode down the 288 in the dark. It was an awesome day! :-) Report here:

http://azgsgirl.wordpress.com/2014/0...turesome-ride/

Laying low this weekend. Sorry. The bike and I can only take so much.(I think I bent something on the front end, and I mean on the bike, but maybe not. I might have bent something on me, too, but I am not really thinking too much about that. LOL Plus, it's football, and I don't want to miss what's left of it. I hate when the season ends.

Have a fun ride. Looking forward to doing the "old 60" ride if you guys do one soon.

- Jo

I agree. Breakfast is important.

I'll be at the Village Inn around 8ish. The morning exploration session is through Desert Wells (and some other sketchy parts ) so we can skip it and do it some other time.

See you all tomorrow morning.

“Well, what does the map say?” I asked.
“Uh … g-ding ding ding ding ding?” he answered, thinking of the fox song.
My whole family does spin offs of that goofy song!

Jo, I found this on 288, a few feet after Cherry Creek. Now you have me searching for them.

Yes! I meant to get that one the other day, but since we returned in the dark, I couldn't! I will, though. :-)

Love it. I really got into it after my school kids picked that theme for a bulletin board. We were going to do the dance in P.E., but during the week we were going to do it, it didn't work out. Maybe we will in the future, like if the P.E. teacher is sick and there is no sub, I'll just teach it myself. The kids were looking forward to me dancing with them! LOL

There is one of those cactus in Turkey Creek. Very cool looking.

Hmmm. Sounds like the beginning of a quest! Ride to find the crested cacti! :-) Thanks, Drew, for the tip.
