Now on to ridding. Only have the 400 for dirt rides right now, but the Concours is for sale and then who knows. All the rides that have been discussed sound great except the overnighters. Family and work come first. Things seem to be panning out. Will keep watching this thread.

Why not call up a meet and greet...again. San Tan Flat is a cool place. Theres a decent coffee shop in Queen Creek that has good food. Cheaper than STF but not all cowboyed up..and no camp fire, no alcohol either.

288 to Young paved about 1/3 of the way and super wide and smooth the rest of the way. The only river crossing has a bridge (over the salt). If you have the time make the side trip to Workman Falls. It's a beautiful ride.

Also, there is a pretty active group (AARG) which does much of what you described. Last weekend was 500 miles of dirt & slab with a stop in the Chihuahuas for camping. Good times.

Hey Bill I was having VF symptoms but had it as a teenager. Then it got worse and when I layed down I felt like drowning. They said it was very similar to VF and caused Congestive Heart Failure. My heart swelled to 2.5 times it's normal size. I have it very much under control, but I had the best heart doctor around. I have a souvenier in my chest that is armed with 750 volts of D/C power. If you start to get worse check out Dr. Chan at tri-city cardiology. (Persistant coughing, shortness of breath worsens when you lay down?)

Me my my kid have the same symptoms. We spend a lot of time at the local MX tracks and suck a ton of dust. Its been like 4 weeks and we are almost back to normal. We pretty much had VF symtoms as they read off the list.

I can do STF Wed at 6pm. Its good to know you carry some juice..if anybody ever has a dead battery! I have a buddy that has a programable giz hooked to his heart that is monitored via a wireless hook up at his home. His doc can program the thing for "better performance" with a laptop. He's still desert riding!

I just did mine 2 weeks ago 35 min job if u got z right tool, now i am replacing z chain/ sprockets. Rear wheel bearing done i am just waiting for my rear sproket to get in (from Bob's Cycle) . This Bob's cycle i'll tell u is a wallet & life saver.

If you stop by my place tomorrow (sunday) you're more than welcome to use my garage. I'm at Germann & Power and I have all the tools you need. I just came in from the garage from changing out the seals on my DR.
