Great google moogly you must be smooth. I'm ecstatic if I can get a k60 to go 3500 on the rear. The k60 rear and tkc front has been a good combo on the big bike. I like the 606 on the front better if I am mostly off road.

The tubeless k-60 seems to wear much longer than the tube version. And yes I am smooth.

Lemme know how the HT work (handle/turns/wear/etc...), I had the I/T last year and was worth the s**t.

I think you'll like it cause I got a rider with us in the Grand Canyon Ride 2013, who had it on brand new on a CR450x I looked at it the end of the ride it was barely showing any wear and it handle very good to his review.

The Coke Ovens

Last week some friends from NE came down and I took them to the Coke Ovens, we found an easier way to them. Wish it had been before we found the hard way, we came down N. Martinez Spring Trail, it's rated a 4 in an off road book, I think that is for airplanes. But we made it and a guy at the ovens said how to get out which takes you west to where the Gila hits the stone mountain and takes a left turn to the south. You go under a railroad bridge and end up on the Cochran road after running a wash for awhile.

Tom, I'm interested in your review of that tire as well. I'd be great to hear your thoughts after a few miles.

Is anyone planning on going to Desert Daze in the end of March? I will be heading down Thursday and leaving sometime on Saturday.

This will be my first overnight on the motorcycle, so I am looking at getting a bag for the back of my bike. I am sure I could Ghetto Rig my backpacking pack onto the rear, but I like the idea of the Giant Loop bags.

I am trying to decide between the Coyote model and the Great Basin. Do any of you have experience/recommendations for rear bags. I want to be able to carry enough gear for a 2-3 night stay...

That doesn't mean a ton of clothes. I find that a strong smell will keep the mosquitos away.

Condensed version is the OP is one fo the designers of the Giant Loop. There was a split and now he's making these on his own.

These are a much better design than the original GL bags.

There are some sneak peak pics but they aren't available for sale yet.

Soon. I'm glad I've held out. I'm getting me some when they do.

Looks like a really good product. I am sure it will still be in the mid 300's. Ask for a referal discount and I will buy after you.

Now I need to figure out how I will strap my backpacking pack to my bike, or do I borrow my dad's truck and drive down there...16 MPG is not too appealing.
