Not sure exactly, 3 hours? Plus maybe lunch at Tortilla Flats?

It's a loop. Enter off Hwy 87 off 4 Peaks Rd, go back to Roosevelt lake, return on Hwy88 through Apache/Canyon lakes.

Took the bike for a 50 mile hard ride. the motor and trans. are tight and strong but the suspension and ergo's suck, So that's the first step. Next will be to open up the motor and exhaust and let her breath. Any other suggestions? I'm going like My wallets going

Wade,

Congrats on he new ride and looking forward to seeing it on the trail soon

Crown King Via Lake Pleasent

Hey all

It looks like my little hiatus is over

Thinking about doing a Crown King ride next Saturday from the Lake Pleasant side.

Can anyone let me know if there is a route that is good for my level of riding???

If there isn't a good route I will be good with trying the Castle Hot Spring loop again as the last time we took the shorter route and I know missed a lot of the good trails.

Take Care
Bill

Thanks Aaron and it's good to be back and planning a ride again. Can't do anything this weekend but looking forward to next Saturday.

You guys have a good ride. I am going to stay out west this weekend.

I'm in.

I haven't been on the back way in quite a while, but will probably check it out tomorrow.

Brad,

That is great and I am glad you are going to check it out. If you say it is cool then I know we are good. If you say it's hard then I know I am in deep trouble

Adding Bar risers and fat bars has really helped my back while riding. I actually want another inch and I think I will be perfect. I also lowered my pegs with the lowering brackets, but I am not sure how sold I am on them. The position feels great, but I am hesitant having the brackets hang below my skid plate.

Bill, I rode the back way to CK today, well, I actually turned around at the last creek (used to be a creek) and returned back the same way. I was not hungry nor was I wanting to see any more quads than I had already encountered.

This was the first time I went this way in probably two years. It was a dusty ass ride, there was a lot of traffic on this route today, but I did not get an early start either.

A couple of spots will get your attention quick. It's not hard but a few areas takes some solid commitment to make the climbs. With that said I think you will be ok on this route. It's more chewed up than what it was a couple of years ago but it's nothing like it was 4 years ago before they graded it. I didn't get any pictures today but next week I will.

Joined up with KC (wanttoridemoar) and we went over Four Peaks. Gorgeous day out.

Didn't think I had enough fuel, so stopped at the marina. Waited a long time for service, but it was quite relaxing to just hold still and enjoy the scenery.

I had never seen these cliffs!

Trials Next Weekend

Sunday the 16th. Just east of Superior, makes a great dualsport destination. No charge for spectators.
If you come to spectate bring some hiking boots so you can get to the good stuff, and pack a lunch.
