Ricardo,

Hope everyone gets better soon. I am going to blow off the breakfast and swing by the café @ 9:00 if there is anyone wanting to still meet for the ride.

This little kid track was pretty cool, but Dan was wanted to ride "real trails" We had fun exploring the trails and climbing the washes. We left Boulders and the temp was only 80 degrees. We totally lucked out.

That can be a real fun place as long as the kids area isn't packed with kids all trying to go different directions!

Aaron,

Thanks for posting, it looks like you all had a great time.

Derek and Jay,

Thanks for the ride today we could have asked for better conditions. We maybe a little less wind but it wasn't too bad.

Saturday ride

Whacked my right leg pretty good on a tree stump at 1:15. My foot did a full 180. A cold feeling instantly rushed through my body and I thought the worst. Luckily I didn't break anything and surprisingly I don't even have swelling on my foot. My knee and ankle sure do hurt right now though.

Thanks to Viper for an excellent day of riding otherwise.

Cool video. Looks like a fun trail. Good to hear no broken bones!

Just for us to keep a tab on further exploration in that area
this is the route we did up to the apple orchard. You can even see the line of trees at the end of the route if you zoom in with satellite view.

Riding through Red Rock spring on NF-71 was really cool.

Hey Julio, was it same or more difficult to Montana Mountain?

Most of it was easy. The only tough part was that trail in the video and it only lasts about 2 miles. I still want to connect the 188 with the 288. I'm sure there's a way but it's a long day. Especially if we're just poking around exploring stuff like Viper and I were doing Saturday. I still have a bunch of clips that I need to put together but with my PC . . .

I'm thinking about one last Montana Mountain ride Saturday before the heat starts. Anyone interested?
