Another great ride, thanks a lot guys.

That's an incredible shot Martin. Mind telling what camera/lens setup you're using?

Nothing special Jay, this was my old 550D (t2i) with EF-S 18-200, the only combo I'm willing to bounce around on the bike.. 5 shots combined with Hugin.

Glad y'all had a good ride... I ended up north of town doing Black Canyon City to Crown King via Turkey Creek, then Old Senator Hwy to Prescott and back home on slab. Also had flat fun, including pinching the replacement tube during install to create another flat. Thank God for patch kits.

Damn, I camped out by Bear Canyon Lake this weekend! I wish I had known there was a back route out to the 87, instead I got stuck behind a truck with a camper going <10mph then shortly after passing him got followed by two sheriff/park rangers so I was limited to 25mph on the last section of dirt where you could cruise at 50mph all day.

FYI, I'm headed out in July for a 10-day ride to Yellowstone and back. Gonna ride portions of the AZ, UT and CO BDR's on the way there and back.

Looking for inmates who would like to join me on the trip, either the full thing or part.

I will post the story up soon. Been busy healing, visiting doctors, getting a rental car etc. All in all, I don't think it could have turned out better than it did. No broken bones and I only broke skin in a few small areas thanks to my gear. I do feel like a giant dead arm or a punching bag though.

East Valley help needed...

Can anybody with a truck and/or trailer help me get 3 bikes out to San Tan Valley from Maricopa ?

I offer gas money, some cash and a free stand/chock

I realize these are bikes and the obvious answer would be ride them...two of them are drained of fuel to save me
from cleaning the carbs of ethanol sludge and I don't feel like riding the little ones an hour on pavement....plus
that would take 6 hours and 300 miles of back & forth.

What kind of bikes? I might be able to help. I have a crappy trailer and wouldn't mind helping out. I am in the East Valley.

Hey Mike,

I have a small trailer that can hold 2 bikes as long as they are not any longer that a DR. It can hold 1 longer bike by putting it on a diagonal on the trailer.

Let me know if you would like me to head your way!!!

Later
Bill
